Bargains Galore.

We all love a bargain!
A couple of days ago, Louise from Sprinkle Of Glitter posted on Instagram that she'd found Stila make up in Poundland! I was really excited by this, and being the very poor student I am; I went a searching!
Yesterday I went on a mission to find it. Unfortunately, the only Stila Makeup they actually had in stock was 'Angel Foundation Powder' which I wouldn't use, or 'Tinted Moisturiser' in Medium. Now you've seen how pale I am, there was no way it was going to do.

Undeterred, I went on a search through the many rails through the branded make up trying to find something I would use. 

Make up in Poundland is a great discovery! It's generally discontinued lines, or just extra stock that they've bought cheaply. But they've got brands such as Rimmel, Miss Sporty, Sally Hansen, NYC, ChitChat (which I think is their own brand?) and a couple more. 

Don't get me wrong, some of the products...well they're the type you'd expect to find in Poundland, really disgusting colours and just not good condition.

But the majority of them are really good!  I'm always really surprised by the amount of really good products, and I find myself actually wondering "Are these really only a pound?!"

So yesterday, I picked up these pretty things!

ChitChat Gold Nail Varnish.

I was drawn to this because of the large Gold Flecks in it, I've been really loving the idea of glittery nails recently. So I grabbed this one!

I have 3 coats on my nails in the picture, it's not as opaque as I'd have liked, but it still gives pretty good coverage! Good for a pound!

NYC Due eyeshadow- contour and highlight.

The swatches are bad, I know. No need to say haha.

So I picked this up thinking they're really nice colours, and somewhere in my head a little voice was telling me "You don't have a clue what contouring is, let alone in eyeshadow" and that voice was defininitely right. I've no idea.

Didn't even know you could do that! So I'll be watching a few youtube tutorials for that one haha..

ChitChat Purple Nail Varnish.

It reminded me of a pop art kind of colour, it's not very summery...but we're not exactly in the height on summer right now are we *looks out the window to see grey skies threatening to rain*. It's a pretty colour, so hey. 

 Major apologies- feet aren't pretty. Mine definitely aren't, but how else was I going to show you the colour?

It's my birthday in 14 days (not that I'm counting) and I'm going to be camping for it.

Good:

• I'll be with my friends, that's always a laugh
•  I'll get two birthdays, one when I'm away and one when I'm at home
• I'll be having the time of my life (hopefully) working at a festival.
  
  Bad:
• This happens every year, in the past 9 years I've been at home 2 years with my parents
• I really do miss my parents on my birthday, like majorly.
• I'll have to work for 8 hours on the day.. and probably collapse with exhaustion.
  
  The festivals I'm going to are called Soul Survivor and Momentum, I'm mega excited.
